Fotamecus Film Majik

an experiment in temporality

RELEASE DATES still are not finalised but we are in the edit room and have made a first cut of the majik film already. We are now working on an accompanying documentary before returning to do a final cut on the majik film itself.

We hope to then finalise the project sometime later this year!

WHAT'S NEW?

May 11th 2005: The documentary is coming along nicely and we've now set up new domain names and webspace in preperation for the launch - you can now access us via www.fotamecus.co.uk or via www.fotamecus.org.uk or even via the two more unusual names we nabbed, killingchronos.com and godmaking.com. As some of you know, the idea is that the website will be re-organised as we launch the film to enable it to be a user based space where we can build a community of godmaking chaos magicians and their fellow travellers as we engage in the tyask of making our gods (and goddesses) up as we go along and killing chronos for fun...

March 23rd 2004: After much delay the film has finally ENTERED THE EDIT!!! The next three weeks are logging weeks but the Steinbecks are working and aside from having to work at night as the blackout boards aren't yet ready for the studio, the process looks like it will be reasonably trouble free, at leats to begin with.

August 27th 2003: Orryelle Defenestrate Bascule has agreed to allow one of his music tracks to be used in the Film and has also done a guest appearance which we filmed a couple of weeks ago.

August 1st 2003: Invasion of the clocks! Testbed interface for forthcoming CD-Rom (when hitting clocks will take you to further pages of info and experiment). Click here to take a look (shockwave required - will install if you don't have it).
